General Education Report:                                                                          Cary Burke

The attendance at Education Leg meetings has been up and down, however the communication seems to be okay.  We concluded the end of this school year with Graduation Sunday June 8, the Summer Sunday School Calendar for teachers and Vacation Bible School.  The date for the Fall Sunday School open house is September 7, which will coincide with Promotion Sunday.  Promotion will be held in the Sanctuary at 10 am.   Club Mission, a summer youth project, worked on crafts for mission projects and held classes on various topics such as Going Green, Home Finances, and Pre-Teen Crisis.

I attended Virginia Conference on June 15th for two days and sought out resources, spoke with other Christian educators and shopped with Cokesbury.    Any classroom or bible study needs should be reported to me so I can continue to shop for you.

We are always open to suggestions or ideas for additional classes or resources.  Please contact us at my email frumceducation@comcast.net or call the church at 635-2935.
